Heart Transplant
Just bought an '86 TA with a 97 LT1 in it. The motor is not running at the moment but it does turn over. The plan is to put the LT1 in the Iroc
I'm parting the TA out if anyone needs anything.

That T/A looks like it has been seriously molested

I'd be interested in the following for my recently purchased 86 Iroc:
- T-tops ... for spares
- antena
- steering wheel ... to use while I get mine re-leathered
- 3rd brakelight... not sure yet why mine stopped working (not bulbs)
None of these things I really need, but better than in the junkyard.

Great man!
Did you get a harness and computer with it?
Any idea on the optispark condition..they can be a bitch and are $$$$.. I ended up just putting a cap kit on mine, still cost me I think about $200.
Let me know if you need any advice or ideas for the swap.

I'm interested in that hood... but not the hassle of shipping it from Canada.

I'll stop. Nice find tho. LT1/LS1's are definately the way to go for a swap. Thread Starter

That looks like a Flowmaster muffler too. I question the gains of installing it without attaching it to the engine though. How the hell did you find that thing? I've wanted an LT1 since I saw Neil's car last summer.
