I can see the damage is SOMEwhat comparableto mine being mine has seen about 4+ winters now in action, but nothing so lowdown as that. Good luck on eBay!
I can see, if you have a paint scheme in mind, it could look fantastic, but ditch the factory rims, just my thought. And possible a tuned port if not a regular V8 that turns heads; TPI Paxton SC sold a bit ago below>

Good thing they don't use salt on the roads out here...
FWIW, I've seen worse restored to their former glory, but it's definitely a process.
Just be patient, my son...

Well it sure wasn't stored in a garage for the winter. Get a tetanus shot and have fun repairing that project.

WOW
Man,
That car does need some TLC! BUT, I can definitly see the potential. Are you going to repaint in the same Yellow? That car is going to look great when you get it done.
Like most everyone else here I am happy to see another of these cars saved.
Welcome to the TGO Vert section (INSANE ASYLUM)!

RE: the PAxton SC
I was only watching one just listed on eBay and don't have one myself, it sold for about $1300, so with all the parts, you can expect more interest I'd say.
As far as a rust frame restore, I'd be quite worried as well and say keep looking in junkyards, may find a better one there! Considering the state of a well looking car used on the cable restor shows that was torn down and sandblasted...they found problems with that car too, and you wouldn't have expected it from it's clean appearence. If you plan to just drive it often, don't be overly concern but also keep looking.
I think the year is also strange for so much wear and tear. I had mine at 44K and $8,600 price tag! It spent only one winter not on the road while I have had it, yet I've washed it down as often as I can too...not sure how that didn't help me more

Yea, it does have a lot of rust doesn't it? We'll see, I know at the end of this I will have a Third gen Camaro Convert in perfect condition, at least when I'm done! Good news though, in regards to me getting a job, been a long process trying to find something that I have a lot of experience with that I can get paid for, but finally it has come! Going to be interviewed next week to be a PC Networking Expert (Trainee) at a local casino (Caesars) in Atlantic City, that should be fun!

Umm...wow! WTF happened to that poor car? It looks like it was underwater for couple years. I dunno man, I would just dump that and get another car to work on. There are plenty of clean verts out there for real cheap. You are going to really have your hands full my friend. From my view point, its not even worth to work on her :-(
Check out this 90 vert for 2k!
Atleast you can start with a nice California base car with no rust damage.
