Installed vacuum reservoir

I installed a vacuum reservoir today because my cam is so big that I have almost no vacuum to run the power brakes. I mounted it behind the headlights on the drivers side. Didn't know if anyone would be interested in seeing it. Its a little hard to see because of the sunlight. I have it mounted to a home made bracket that is 10 3/4" tall and 6 1/2" wide. I bent the top and bottom to make 1/2" lips to drill holes for mounting and painted it black. Works good. Gives me a little more vacuum than before. Only time it won't work well is if I press the brakes and then press them again too soon and don't give the canister enough time to refill. Otherwise, I like it.

I instaled the same one you have, i dont know if i noticed a difference, maybe i have the lines crossed up, how do you have them set up, there is one valve and one elbow, if ya can tell me how much difference you feel so i can compare it to that.

A line runs from the carb to the canister check valve and then another line runs from the fitting on the tank to the check valve on the booster. It works better than without one.

That's where my resevoir is mounted as well. I only saw a little improvement with mine. I think I'm going to have to spend the money and get a vaccum pump.

Then I can get an even bigger cam...
