looking for a way to jump or bypass the starter enable relay
I am installing a F.A.S.T. setup into my 91z28 and I need to bypass the VATS setup and the starter enable relay. The shop I bought it from said to put a jumper wire between the two big yellow wires on the relay that is just inside the drivers kick panel. The relay that is there has a big yellow, big green, and a small yellow/black, and a small black/yellow. How would I go about setting my ignition up to work without the need for a chip or any VATS crap? Is it as simple as doing the resitor trick or what. I have NO FACTORY ECM left inside my car.

It's actually the big yellow and big green wires. That's what I'm actually using on my clutch safety switch to keep the car from starting when it's not pushed in, but I'm also using a non-VATS column in the car since it didn't have VATS to start with, but a 91 model dash harness.

If you have no ecm anymore, the only portion of the VATS system that will be bothering you is the starter enable relay.
The relay is behind the driver's side kick panel. If your car is currently capable of starting, the simplest thing would be to get to the relay with a electrical tester and see which wires the relay connect when it's activated.
All you need to do is take out that relay, and connect the two wires that would normally be connected by the relay when it is activated. Most likely, it would be the two large wires.
You're probably better off bypassing the relay than putting in a jumper wire. If the jumper wire causes the relay to stay on all the time, it will be a drain on the battery.

and by bypassing the relay, you mean just cutting the wires of it and joining the 2 big ones together? What about thr other 2 small ones

For testing purposes, I would not cut the wires until you're certain which ones need to be connected, but that's just my suggestion. You can test by pulling the relay out and using a fused jumper wire.

The big green wire, and the big yellow wire are what you need to jumper. I didn't do anything with the little wires since they goto the passkey module. Here is a picture of what you should have.

My relay has a few different colored wires on it compared to that pic. I know it doesnt mean much but if I just jump the 2 biggest gauge wires then will I be ok? I would really like to rip the the pass key module right out of the car along with anything else that is theft related. I found a box on the passengewr side of the car tucked up near the factory ecm area, is that the pass key box? I am not the best figuring out what that relay does to pass power so can someone break it down for me please. I am running a manual trans

All that does is bypass the VATS relay if you're not using the ECM anymore. The green and yellow wires is what I'm actually using on my clutch safety switch to keep the car from starting when it's not pushed in since the car was an auto to begin with and I swapped it to a 6-speed. If the car was an auto to begin with, you will be able to start the car without the clutch pushed in, that's why I put connectors on my wires and used them for the safety switch.
