Diy-wb Help Needed

I ordered the kit from DIY-WB.com and Mr Hartwig told me where I could get the sensor at a good price so I ordered it also. After several months I got a chance to try to built controller and everything went great except:
1. The componant for listed for C2 on the parts list was not in the kit. After a trip to Radio Shack and the Digikey website I found out that this item was obsolete. Other than a 4 resistors the only thing left was 2 pieces which I could not read the # on. they are a honey mustard color about 1/8 in. long and 3/32 dia. axial. could this be the replacement part for the obsolete?

2. The sensor has a different connector than the one on diy-wb.com and also the wires are different colors. The one I have is made by NTK part # 036-906-262-E. I have no idea how to wire this so I need help.
Attached is a pic of the connector
Thanks in advance

Good possibility, that form factor and color matches for a capacitor. The reason for two is that the other is required for a 'fix'. The one replaces C2, the other is placed across leads 1 & 3 of D5 (the fix). The part D5 is found in the upper left quadrent of the board. Pins 1 & 3 are the outer two pins.

I've found it easiest to bend the cap leads at 90° and lay it flat on the PCB. Then bring each lead to the proper D5 lead and solder it in place.

As for the sensor, I have this for the L2H2 to match it to the diy-wb L1H1 sensor:

L1H1 L2H2

Yellow Yellow
Orange Blue
Black Black
White White
Red Grey

Not sure if it is correct or not.

Don't forget to wire the calibration resistor (located in the sensor connector) to pads J9 and J10 (CalR).

RBob.

Thanks for the help. I'm gonna go with that and see what happens.
