Blower for heater

Ok so 2nd time Ive had to replace the heater core, green noxious fumes rising from the vents make it hard to see. (2 diff cars for replacing the cores)

Now for the real Fun.

I was trying to find the housing for the blower to troubleshoot it. but then I realized I didn't have a multimeter nor anything else.

The blower does not blow air after starting the car up, neither hot nor cold. If your driving and you hit a pothole, it magically comes on a little bit. then another hole and viola its full blast...

here is what I would be very grateful to know:
Where to look for the blower. (is it under where the A/C lines go into the plastic housing on the passenger side next to the firewal?)
How to get to it. (precautious things if there is any)

Anyway to test it out of its environment.

I have checked all of the fuses, but have not checked the wires to the blower. The blower costs 37$ from advanced auto so figured it could be wise just to buy it and replace and see if it works.

Was looking at that, and it looks possible to just pull it out and make sure all the lines are working.
It also seems that If i put it on high and defrost that should make it work the easiest.

Replace the blower motor. The brushes inside are making poor contact and jouncing them "fixes" it. Ive found that slamming the passenger door works just as well as poping the hood and hitting it.

Thanks for your insight, wasn't sure if someone else had actually had this happen.

I wouldnt bother replacing the relay unless theres something wrong with it. Its not really that hard to get to. And you know the old saying, if it aint broke ...
