Heritage Vert Pics

Everything has finally come together and I have pics of my car.
Barry, I hope you understand why I didn't bring it to the meeting on Sat. night.

This is the original paint with 3 coats of Zaino 2 pro and 3 coats of Z6 Ultra Clean on the horizontal surfaces. The vertical surfaces only got 2 coats of Z2 pro and 2 coats of Z6.
The rims got 2 coats of each. And the tires got a coat of Z16 'Perfect Tire Gloss'.

The Z18 'Clay Bar' was used before all of it. The Z9 'Leather Soft' and the Z10 'Leather in a bottle' was used also. It really did a good job. I'm going to hit the seats again with the z10 because the tops of the seats are getting kind of hard because of sitting out in the sun.

Here is a link to one of the previous owners pictures of the car, who happend to be a TGO member.

See you guys on Tuesday.

This pic looks like the quarter has some scratches, but it doesn't.
I think the camera picked up where my 'crumb snatchers' have put their grubby little fingers.

I have never seen an original third gen paint look that good, and I bought my first one off the show room floor in 1988. Is that a Van Nuys car? I may have the spelling wrong, but the Van Nuys, California cars used a new (for then) low emissions type paint.

Greetings from Whistler BC! Somebody is running a wireless internet connection and my laptop connected to it. Kinda hard to stay off of TGO.

I don't remember which plant it was produced at. I'll look up the vin when I get home. I think only one plant was making camaros back in 92.

Hey! It's my old car.

If I remember correctly, Van Nuys was the only plant left by '92.

It was closed when the 4thgen moved to St Therese, Quebec.

I'm glad to see the paint holding up that well, my father and I (owners #1 & #2) take a lot of pride in maintaining our cars to be like new, and in many cases, better than new.
