T56 and conversion stuff for sale. CHEAP!

Hey guys, I'm looking to to sell a t-56 trans and some conversion stuff I have. I need to get rid of this stuff soon, so I only want $600 or best offer for it. I will consider all offers. Also, this is going to be for pickup only, as I dont want the hassle of shipping it. Its located in 21750, western Maryland.

Heres what I have

T-56 Transmission that needs rebuilt. A couple parts are out of it that needed to be replaced, but they are in a box, and are all there. The tranny is from a 94 camaro, so it should be the stronger version.

T-56 LT1 Bell housing. It will bolt to the earlier style blocks as well.

T-56 shifter. Original shifter, not an aftermarket one.

Hydraulics. Almost brand new master and slave assembly.

3rd gen manual pedals. One of the pins is worn, and some surface rust, but otherwise in pretty good shape.

Message me if you're interested. I need to get rid of this stuff soon!

I live in Woodbridge, VA...it is about a two hour drive for me to come and pick it up. I don't know jack about rebuilding a tranny, do you have an idea how much I will need to spend to get the tranny rebuilt? Just looking for a ballpark figure, wife will kill me cause we have a 3 month old.

I can and will drive down this weekend to pick it up. Let me know.

I'm not interested in selling just the hydraulics at this point.

I'm not sure exactly what all it needs. Some of the parts that are in it are new, but I think it does need an input shaft, and maybe a couple gears. I am not a trans expert either. I work at a garage, and it had new parts put in it for a customer, but he doesnt know how to drive and messed it up again. They ended up selling him a new transmission (which he quickly destroyed), and this one has been sitting.

It would definitely need a couple hundred dollars put into it to get it back on the road.

Let me know.

Do a net search for rebuild information.

I found a manual someplace but can't recall where or where I have it stored.
The reading I did said it is not that hard just read and follow the instructions. I have done a 4 speed but never 5/6 or auto. The 4 speeds are not so bad and the t-56 should be the same with more parts.

I did a search and did not find it again.

check out the manual transmissions/parts on ebay motors. I always see manuals for rebuilds on the t56 on there.

Yeah, If you drove to frostburg, chances are you drove right past me. I have a few guys whos given me offers. I'm still more open to offers at this point. I'd like to get a little more than offered, but if I don't by this weekend, I'll settle.

Re: T56 and conversion stuff for sale. CHEAP!

yeah that's what i figured. I am from the md/dc/va area of md so driving out there was definately something new. Tons of mountains and lots of open land, something that I don't get to see everyday around here. The one thing I dislike about that area is that the elevation is slightly higher so temps are slightly lower. I was out sunday morning and it was freezing in frostburg. I'm not positive when I'm heading back over that way, but it will be sometime before the weather gets too bad, it will also allow me to scrap more money together. How do you like it out there? What were the offers that people have thrown at you?

About 500 bucks. I have a few guys who have offered me that. I probably want to get rid of this thing before the weekend. So if I dont get any higher, it will probably go for that.
