Anyway its the L98 out of my 89 Camaro Irocz. Its got a well maintained 158K miles on it. It ran like a champ tho, This last november it ran 12.95 at 103.8 with stock heads, stock Cam, with a HSR manifold and shorty headers. So it still runs strong. I just stripped it down these last few months.


I have taken the cam out, and the heads are off. cam bearings show alittle wear but you could still run this motor if you put the cam back in.


I'm including the block with oil pan and oil pump, both of which are stock pieces. Stock balancer, crank pulley, stock waterpump, stock cam with lifters but NO lifter hold down plates and NO spiderfor the lifter valley. I will keep those for my new setup. Will include stock flexplate and starter too!

The 083 heads will have the stock springs installed and will include rocker arms/nuts/pushrods. I do have stock replacement Z28 springs that i'll give yah. Also stock valve covers that i painted black if you want them

Motor is STILL in the car so i need to yank it soon. Gotta borrow a picker to get it out hopefully i can do that somewhat soon

I'd be interested in the short block. Any chance you could include the lifter plates and spider? I wasn't sure how readily available these are. I have an engine hoist if you still need to get it from the car. Just let me know if it's still available. Thanks.

L98 roller block and internals, assembled, 160K miles but ran great when pulled. Actually went 12.90's at 104 with pure bolt ons last november before i pulled it Still have the cam but willing to sell that seperately

NO heads, No Oil pan. Still have stock oil pump tho. NO lifter retainer plates but still have stock lifters laying around somewhere, i gotta clean the garage out
