For Sale! Mickey Thompson ET Drag Wheels! Hoosier slicks!
i'm selling as a package deal, all four wheels, all four tires, and the two center caps. lug nuts included...i have enough 20 12x1.5mm and 10 1/2x20 for those running stouter rear studs.
the wheels are:
15x3.5 with 1.75" backspacing wrapped in 26x7.5 mickey thompson sportsman front runners with about half the tread life left. these wheels weigh in at 8lbs without tires!
15x8 with 4.5" backspacing wrapped in 29x9 hoosier drag slick made with the DO6 compound...very sticky! these wheels weight in at 10lbs without tires! the tires have ~half a season on them!
VERY lightweight wheel/tire combo!
These wheels retail for ~$280/each in the summit catalog, and the 15x8 is no longer available in the 4.5" backspacing so they're not easy to get anymore. my wheels are in near perfect condition with a few light scratches from accidentally dropping lugnuts while installing. the rears have been drilled for rim screws and are all perfectly spaced (i used the rim screw template), with 16 screws on each side. these are ready to make your 60's drop!!!
$950 OBO

gotta be able to fund the new stuff, and i'd rather have the new billet specialies wheels so i don't have to swap out wheels whenever i go to the track.

they are 14 1/4" inner diameter. here's a picture of the backside, you can see that the wheel is all one piece and the inner diameter goes all the way down to the inner face of the wheel where it makes a sharp turn inwards...so i'm certain they'll fit over ls1 brakes

I love that set of wheels. If I had more money I would go for them. Pretty soon I will burn through my set of street radials at the track and go for a set of these. BUMP for a nice set

looks like the fronts are sold to a guy in new england. if there is interest in the rears, i'll sell them wheels/tires, and appropriate lug nuts for $500 picked up.

Re: For Sale! Mickey Thompson ET Drag Wheels! Hoosier slicks!
this is a steal of a deal. 29x9 hoosier slicks (DO6 compound) on a 15x8 wheel w/ 4.5" BS with rim screws evenly spaced using a template, 16 on each side. these weigh 33.6lbs each WITH a fully inflated tire! it don't get any lighter than this! NO curb rash. $500 OBO picked up, or will ship for actual shipping cost. i will have to break these down to ship though to insure they get there safely.

This is a great deal for anyone. Spend the money now and get the fronts later. Wish I had the money!

Re: For Sale! Mickey Thompson ET Drag Wheels! Hoosier slicks!
I noticed someone earlier in the thread that if the back spacing was correct he would buy these. will these not fit on a un-modified 3rd gen?

Re: For Sale! Mickey Thompson ET Drag Wheels! Hoosier slicks!
sean has a fourthgen rearend and requires more backspacing since the rearend is wider. these wheels will fit a stock thirdgen width rear without any problems whatsoever. the tires are taller than what normally are run and you will have to do a little "massaging" to get it to fit without rubbing. if you went with a shorter tire, you wouldn't have to do anything.
