I need a new EGR vacuum solenoid for my engine, but have run into a wall. Not a single place carries these anymore, their warehouses are all out and I am out of leads at this point as far as parts stores. I have tried the dealership, ACDelco dealers, and every parts store locally which includes every large chain store and several independant ones, and I have tried all of the online stores to no avail.

What I speak of is the little thing with vacuum hoses running to the EGR valve and plenum that is mounted on the bracket with the ignition coil on L98 engines. I know there has to be a few of these around somewhere still. I would really prefer a brand new one. Please, if you know where or how to obtain one of these, or have a new one in your possesion you can part with, please PM me or post here.

Well,I don't have a new one but the one I have is still hanging onto my bracket(haven't removed it yet)
I know its still good.I had egr,vats and A.I.R. programmed out of my memcal.
If you want it you can have it for $15 shipped.The price is just to cover my time and shipping costs.If you were local to me I'd tell ya come get it free!

 

Some more research has turned up that this part is the same for all TPI engines from 1987-1992, 350 or 305, it does not matter. I would still really prefer a new one, and will compensate anyone that has one fairly for a rare discontinued NOS part like this. If you have a used one in great shape or that was bought new and then used for some short time, I will also be very interested in something like that.

I called them, those parts are all recently discontinued and all their warehouses are out, those parts will soon be removed from their online store.

They are gone baby gone.

 

Still looking for a new one.

Have the money to make it worth it to whoever can get me one.
