May 2016 TGO Car of the Month Winner
C2YT
Car: 1991 Camaro RS
Specifications
Engine: 3.1 Liter V-6, turbo charged, inter-cooled.
Transmission: Undetermined.
Rear Axle: Undetermined.
Editor's note: Not much is known to me about the specs of this mystery machine, other than it has a unique paint job, C5 wheels, a killer stance, and turbo-charged V-6 power. And that it is our May 2016 COTM Winner.
Congratulations, C2YT, on the win. You have a very cool and unique car that seems to be very well put together. Here's hoping you will use this thread as a platform to enlighten us all with more details and pics.

Re: May 2016 COTM **Winner**
Hello!
Thank you to everyone who voted for me, it really means a lot! I have been checking the voting thread 3 times a day to see where I stood in the competition. Everyone who was nominated had an absolutely fantastic car. Here is a few mechanical details about mine:
- 3.1l V6
- GT3582r Turbo
- 38 mm Wastegate
- 28x7x2.5
- 700r4 w/ 2800 stall
- 3.23 Gears
- 3 inch Downpipe
- LC-1 Wideband
- Tuned on Code 59
Appearance:
- C5 Corvette Wagon Wheels
- Custom 2 Tone Paint
- 4th Gen Cloth Seats
- Smoked Parking Lights
- Smoked Turn Signals
- Iroc Hood
In the next couple weeks after I get the tune settled I will be installing a couple more goodies. Here is the list:
- 2000 z28 Rear End w/ 3.73 Gears & T/A Girdle
- 98+ Front Brakes w/ Hawks Pads & Drilled/Slotted Rotors
- Lowering Springs (Still undecided on drop)
- Competition Engineering 3-way Adj. Rear Shocks
- Adj. Panhard Bar
- Hotchkis Rear LCA's
I hope you all can see that while the car isn't completely finished, it will be in the next couple weeks. I bought the car in April 2014, and it was my first car. I have put roughly 30k miles on it, and the car has never skipped a beat. I have learned so much from this car, everything from sanding it down for paint to tearing apart the engine. I take pride in the fact that I do everything to the car myself, along with guidance from friends and family. I never thought the car would to the point where it is now, and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to show off all my hard work. I have made a lot of memories in this car, and there is much more to come.
For more updates, please follow along with my thread:

I also owe a big thank you to the guys on the V6 forum. Fasteddi, SixShooter, and Project89! You guys have helped me through every step of the way from the little questions to the big ones. I started the project with next to no mechanical experience, but you guys all made it possible for me to learn quickly and have fun. Thank you!
I will have more pictures in the upcoming days as the weather here is terrible right now.

Absolutely!
I plan to be out there for most of the event (I believe it is 4 days this year). I've been out there for the last 2 years also, but this year will be different as the car is a bit more "show" worthy.
I will have to keep an eye out for you! I usually stick around my car but wander around too. So many amazing cars out there. Thank you also!

Thank you guys! I really appreciate it. Hopefully I can get some pictures here soon. I torqued the heads down wrong and had coolant in the oil.
Gotta learn somehow I guess! At least I can say I did it myself... lol

I despite the two tone jobs on this car, especially those kind, but whoever painted your car did a fantastic job putting the color boundary slightly below the waistline of the car. Really smooths out the transition and makes a world of difference. That looks fantastic.
