Replacing Floor Pans, Where To Put Braces?
Hi guys,
I'm gonna start replacing my floor pans tomorrow, I was told that I don't need braces if I keep the car on the ground but I'm paranoid and would rather spend an hour bracing than be stuck with doors that won't close. So the car is a bird with t-tops. I'm going to have the doors removed while replacing the pans, so I honestly don't see much metal to keep stuff straight. So where is the best place to put the braces?
Thanks alot guys

Re: Replacing Floor Pans, Where To Put Braces?
how much of the floor are you removing?
Ideally, you would want to x brace the door jams. 1x1 tubing would be enough, but again, it all depends on what you are cutting out.

I'm replacing the entire floor pans, both sides. Was planning on doing one half at a time. I was thinking one brace straight across the door jamb. But I could do an x no problem.
Thank you
