The pans are the same. The bracing is a little different on convertibles though but that won't affect you patching them.

Re: floor pans

yea knew they came from the factory as t tops just its just when i got the passenger side of my carpet pulled up i seen some extra metal up on the side near the door and kick panel and i didnt know if that was just braceing from ASC or if that was part of it being a t top from the factory and does anybody know what the cheapest way of replacing floor pans i mean i dont want some cheap chinese aftermarket stuff but if i find a good body with good floors can i just remove them and replace my old ones with a salvaged floor

Re: floor pans

The more of these ASC cars i see and buy, the more i see what hackjobs ASC did. Rust issues, drain issues, terrible job of putting cars together. No quality control at all.

More or less the added reinforcements were just that to add some rigidity back into the sides of the car... Since the top was removed the rigidity of the door jamb was gone because the B pillar was now missing, they added braces at the bottom of behind the door and the obvious side to side where the tonneau and the trunk meet.

Not sure where you are going to find anything other than Chinese stuff. Other than going through junkyards and looking for a good floorpan...
