He may not have purchased his from THM. Depending on where you buy them they often sell for $700 or more for a set. I've also been reading that some of the lesser known retailers have inadvertently picked up Chinese knock offs so that is good reason for buying from a dealer listed on Koni's website or from the Koni website itself.

The part numbers are different for fronts and rears.
Per Koni's website:
Front 8741 1030Sport = $477
Rear 30 1265Sport....= $218.25
Total w/out shipping..=$695.25


Per THM's website:
I didn't see where it stated that they sold them in pairs and the prices are in line with what other retailers sell for each. My struts came in individual packages so...
8741-1030SPORT = $207.76 each
30-1265SPORT = $95.06 each
Total................= $605.64
Shipping for 12655's =$25.10
Total......................= $630.74
If he had purchased the 1030 struts all around the total would have been $831.04

Yes I agree should of said I got this set from speaking to the manager who gave menthe deal for 550 shipped, so I went and bought them last week, just mention your with thirdgen.org and u will get the deal,

But!!!!

After getting them I had a few issues,
They came back as used take offs or something around that order, came in box, and it was opened and used, as a a costumer return, and then sold to me, went and called them back they said they made a mistake and resend me a new pair, after countless if days and issues finally got them last week, but again to find out that the koni front struts chamber was raised up by someone, I know when u order a new set of koni struts they are from the factory closed down to insure that u are getting a new set, again both was raised up and no hardware.....

So leads me to believe they may be used? Or a reproduction of some sort,,,been saving up for a while as they are not cheap and are literally the best out there for street use, there are some better then them, but for the price they are the best,
So maybe I lost my money, or maybe sometimes to cheap is not to good to go with,

So my apologies to you and the room on the 550,,,, I did buy them for the 550 but was it worth it to save a few bucks? I'll keep you guys posted when they are on and driven!

There is no shipping fees for any order over 100 dollars,
So again it was 550 in total,
Which saved me about 55 dollars and change, but again debating to give them all back front And rear,

Oh, I saw the price you posted and was curious about them being that cheap. FWIW, they're supposed to have a lifetime rebuild warranty but I'm not sure if they still do that any more. Could try contacting Koni to see if that still applies?
