motor swap/ bell housing bolts
I'm swapping my 305 for a built 350 and everything I've read they say get the top bell housing bolts from the top I have everything on the top end unhooked about to jack it up and do the bottom stuff, my hands are to big to get the bolts from the top, is it possible to get from the bottom?

Not real familiar with Camaros, but I would remove the trans mount and tilt the engine/trans down a bit to maybe access the top bolts with a socket attached to a swivel and extension. If not, get someone with smaller hands! LOL! HTH
P.S. Watch the distributor to firewall clearance or just pull the distributor out. Have you thought about pulling the engine and trans out together?

I agree. Remove the distributor cap, then transmission mount and you will be able to get them with a long extension. It is the easiest way I have found.

Easier BY FAR to get them from the top.
Not sure how big your hands are; but they'd have to be about 3" thick to cause a problem.
Try it, you'll like it.

Well I have the carb engine (don't know if it matters) but mostly there is a pipe across the back assuming its for the air crap that goes into the manifolds that is in my way

Re: motor swap/ bell housing bolts
Its pretty simple to access the bolts from above, but also simple from below with about 4' of extension
Thinking back, trans lines always gave me more trouble than BH bolts
