Magnaflow 16450 ss y-pipe
Did anyone install this y-pipe?
If so was it an easy install and do You recommend it?
The car is my daily driver during summer, and Im not going to get headers, so lets leave that discussion out...
I took a look at the stock y-pipe( tpi car 350 -88), and it looks restrictive.

Re: Magnaflow 16450 ss y-pipe
I have this y-pipe on my GTA, along with selling them to several 3rd gen owners (my company is a Magnaflow power dealer).
In terms of install, it is easy - assuming you can get the old y-pipe out of the cat (or you can just replace both), it bolts up to L98 manifolds.
Probably worth 5 to 8hp by itself - not as much as header, but no where near the expense nor install difficulty.
They discontinued it in early 2015, warehouse inventory is gone now too.
You may be able to pick up a gently used one, or get really lucky to find a distributor who still has them in stock.

Re: Magnaflow 16450 ss y-pipe
Thanks Paul for the info, sounds like a good option for my car.
I can still get one for 205usd, Ive got a search on Ebay, and they still pop up quite often.
Tony, will You post the link here so I can check it out?
