Looking for prop valve tag

Wondering if anyone has one of these laying around that they might want to part with?

Re: Looking for prop valve tag

Best bet would be to get a nice square photo or scan, then crop, edit the colors to be true, and then print a copy on cardstock. Laminate your repro and you're good to go.

Re: Looking for prop valve tag

I was just thinking that might be the only realistic route as I've been unable to get anywhere locating one. I'll see if I can get a scan of one sent to me. Thanks Drew.

Sometimes you just gotta wing it... No guarantees for size, accuracy, or functionality. But as an example of a quick doodle in photoshop...

Re: Looking for prop valve tag

What code are you looking for? Its also stamped on the side of the prop valve if you want the original code. Also, I have seen 2 different ways that the center was cut out.
Have a few in my brake parts drawer in the garage.

I'll check for a code on the side of the valve when I get home, but
this is a pic that I took of the actual tag prior to loosing it while cleaning my engine bay.

When I gutted and cleaned my six'r, I found the original tag caught under the brake lines on the crossmember. Worth looking around, it might still be there somewhere.

Thought about that last night so I crawled around as best I could but found nothing. I even walked the concrete slab where I worked on it as well as the surrounding vegetation, nothing. She's traveled about 1000 miles on the back of an open car hauler since I lost the tag so it's probably laying on the side of some highway somewhere in Texas.

Re: Looking for prop valve tag

Well I finally got around to addressing this lost prop valve tag. I printed the actual pic of the tag adjusting the size based on the size of the prop valve installed in my car. I then laminated it and cut out the round center section. I'll run with this for now until I find an actual tag.
