Car: 1991 Firebird
Engine: 305 TBI
1991 Pontiac Firebird

With a heavy heart I am selling my 1991 Firebird. I've had this car since high school (2000 or 2001, not sure which year I bought it) and love it. The plan was always to threw money into in with bigger engine, etc, but unfortunately real life happened and my real life job did much as much as HS me thought and family and kids came. Anyway, here are the specifics:

-305 TBI
-5-speed manual
-Power windows
-After-market cd player
-Cloth interior, excellent shape
-T-tops
-Mileage: 99,054

I'm by no means a car expect but if you want to know something else, ask. The last several years the car has been stored (in a garage under a car cover) so it doesn't not run currently, but I've never had a problem with it. The car is being sold because I got a new job and have to relocate and don't want to spend the money to move it 500 miles away. And at this point, the money I would put into it goes to my son in some way. Pictures posted below.

Asking $1500 obo. Excellent deal! Must be sold in less than a week or it will be in a junkyard.

I apologize if this is double posted, but didn't appear the first one posted.

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

Does it not run at all or does it run rough? I have a friend in the Atlanta area that could do a quick look for me. Im looking for a good solid project car for my daughter.

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

The battery is dead and beyond that I don't know what it will need. It has been sitting in the garage for probably the past 6 years or so. It has been started since then, but not in several years. It was parked somewhat unexpectedly so I didn't do anything prior to storage like I should have.

Again, I think the interior is in great shape, just normal faded after 25 years. The exterior is pretty good, minor rusting from it's life in Ohio prior to GA, and normal fading/peeling.

Do you have any picture of under the car?
Any holes in the floor from rust?

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

I don't currently have any photos under the car though I will try and get some Wednesday afternoon and post them. No holes in the floorboard. There is some minor rust on the drivers front wheel well I noticed yesterday, but not much, in my opinion, considering it was in Ohio for almost 20 years.

Not trying to bump, but I was asked by someone for more photos so I figured I would upload them here as well. I will also try and get some photos under the car as soon as I finish my lunch. Any more specific photos anyone would like to see please ask.

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

Thanks looks like it has started to rot a little but I'm still interested, is the hatch piped open in the pic or misaligned?
Thanks again for the pics

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

Ha, I didn't think about that but it is open. I opened it not thinking about the battery being dead and since it is motorized closing, it won't close. I'm hoping to get it back closet to the house to charge the battery enough to close it, but that's not happening until I can get more help than just my wife.

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

I have the money but I'm closing on a house on December the 2nd, so Unfortunately I cannot take any money out of the bank until then so I dont complicate closing.
If nobody has bought it by then I will probably be coming to take a closer look at it and bring some cash with me.

Re: 1991 Pontiac Firebird

Congrats on the sale.
I think the buyer got a good price and much better than a scrap yard!
