This is new aftermarket reproduction 1/2" hood insulation for a 1982-92 Camaro. It does come rolled up unlike the factory GM hood insulation which could not be rolled and has been discontinued. It will unroll to it's natural state. It is thicker than the factory original.

Heather can you post a pic of these. I would buy two is the appearance is close to that of factory. If its just some some thick black insulation in the general shape then no.

They do not they are $1.50 per piece and if you don't have any for a camaro they need 19 ��

To make a molded piece would be extremely costly for the mold build, which would be passed on in the price of the product and we would not be able to sell it at a price point that would satisfy our customers. Not to mention shipping. To have a molded solid piece like that, it would have to be shipped in a hood box which is freight collect and usually tacks on another $100 in cost. Sorry guys, we will never be offering this option, so we have the next best thing

Hi there, I just replied to your question a few moments ago. The reason why the fasteners are not included in the deal is because you may not need/want to do as many as are in our pictures....plus you may be able to use the ones you already have. The fasteners are $1.50 each.

I know this is basically not an option and has been discussed, but I gotta ask. What would the price of a molded piece be? Just a ball park figure. How many orders would you need to even consider it? Would you need an original to base the mold off of? Reason I ask is I would definitely buy one and i'm sure some others would too. Plus its only time before the 3rd gens become more collectible and being able to offering factory correct parts is always a plus. Especially when restoring a car, and keeping customers happy.
