84 Bird, t-top drain line

1984 Firebird SE, I have a rubber line that is used as a drain line. It runs from the middle back of the t-top in the top frame, to the drivers side door, to the firewall by fuse box. It then exits and sticks out about 1". It appears as though it was never installed in the t-top. It was laying above the metal in the middle of the t-top. How does this hose get attached to the drain in the t-top area? I cannot see any drain type connection. Pictures would be most appreciated. Thx byron

Sounds like you found the rear wiper washer fluid line for the roof mounted nozzle,...........

P.S. Only 15 minutes before this was bumped,..... that's GOT to be a record !

Hey John, thanks. Yup, little buttons, fat fingers. Seems odd that gm would install a rubber line when there is no wiper/washer. The car is making its way to the paint shop (hopefully soon). Byron
