Door Rattle

My Drivers side door rattles on rough roads. The hinge pins are tight. The door is hard to close with windows up. Any suggestions.

Re: Door Rattle

The doors on these cars are quite heavy and tend to sag over time. You will probably have to re-adjust the hinges to get a better fit. Part of the issue is that since thirdgens don't have full frames the bodies tend to flex a lot and cause panel fitment issues especially if your car has t-tops. The best way to fix the issue is to put a set of subframe connectors on your car to make it more rigid and then adjust the hinges.

Re: Door Rattle

Many many reasons from door handles, window adjustments, weather striping, inner rods etc...
Keep in mind with the window adjustments, to make sure that the inner pads aren't worn trough or it will permanently scratch the glass.
