Rear view mirror harness question

Rear view mirror harness question
Can anyone tell me about wiring.
I have two harness for rear view mirror + dome light + 3rd brake
one with 4 wires: orange, white, yellow and GRAY
second has only 3 wires: orange, white and yellow
orange - positive
white - door open
yellow - 3rd brake
GRAY - what for?? it should be connected to mirror which I haven't.
