Update on my build
I just posted an update on ls1tech on the conversion section.
Heres the url: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/conver...iroc-swap.html
Whats been done.
Rear brake hard lines (on axle).
New driveshaft u-joints, including rear 1350 conversion joint. Driveshaft installed.
New rear output tranny seal.
Electrical is done (body part), everything works... lights, trunk etc.
Rear end mounted on the car.
Re-worked my tranny x-member to make it mate with my mwc torque arm. I still have to finish welding and painting it.
Now the pics.

Re: Update on my build
Had a lot of questions concerning the rear end. Its a Midwest Chassis Fabrication unit. Custom housing, 4.10, Ford 9" aluminum third center with true trac. I had to use kore3 brake backing plates to allow C6Z brakes to fit the rear flanges.

Where did you get those strut mounts and strut tower brace? Something like that is exactly what I'm looking for, to clear my hood and work with my coilover setup.

Re: Update on my build
Do you have more info on how you made that mwc torque arm with your transmission cross member? What x-member do you have? Or why did you have to do any modification? I'm thinking about going with a midwest fab 9" also.

Re: Update on my build
Amazing. I have to stop looking....the drool is going to fry my keyboard.
Extreme attention to detail. It's what I am looking to do to mine....if I can stand not driving mine that long.
Where did you get those headlights from? They look like something I might want on my car.

Are those head lights the real projectors, or the normal ones from EBAY?
