My 1985 Camaro IrocZ Roadster
Well I came across a great deal the other day. I found a 1985 Camaro IROCZ that was recently converted into a roadster. I know that autoform made these kits and they were installed after the car was purchased. I only paid $300 for the entire car plus all the parts to go with it as it was in the process of getting restored.
There is no engine or transmission, but the engine bay was completely redone and painted, there is absolutely NO rust underneath or anywhere there is usually rust on these cars! I couldn't believe myself when I went and looked at this car. So I am going to finish this car and probably put in a 383 stroker with a turbo 350 transmission. The body has been reinforced for the conversion so I don't have to worry about that issue. There is no numbers showing it being a autoform conversion but by the looks of the kit, it looks like it is of that era.

I know nothing about this conversion . I would like to know more . rust free & all you mentioned I would say you got a deal at $300.00 . if you have space , time , skill , and most of all money "GO FOR IT" . keep us updated with pics. as you progress . best of luck .
