I know that feeling.
Gather some ideas, look at what others have done to their cars, and really just envision what you want the end result to look like. That is what I did when my front end was wrecked. I waited quite a while before I had the car repainted and was sure I had it how I wanted.

I am worried about insurance company.
Here's the story for those interested:
I just got off work and was going home. Going straight on 741 at the intersection of Cobblegate like right in front of Fazolis in Moraine and some fat Danny Devito looking ***** pulled out in front of me in the intersection as he was turning left. I slammed on my breaks and obviously it wasn't fast enough. Two witnesses stayed with me to talk to the police and tell them it wasn't my fault. The police came and talked to everyone and they said that it was pretty obvious that it was his fault and he even got cited and got a ticket for failure to yield which will be in the police report the insurance sees so I will 100% win the insurance battle. Just heart broken though I feel sick to my stomach about the whole thing.
I believe the insurance company is gonna try to total my car and I'm not going to get jack in damages, plus having to buy the car back...

I apologize for not getting back and explaining what happened and sorry for the people who PM'ed me, but I will get back with everyone today.
So the insurance company offered me $3,700 which was still a total loss for the car and that was after I had thrown every receipt I possibly had at them. I bought the car back for $400 which means it currently has a salvage title and it's been sitting since it was wrecked. Funny thing is though the car is still getting me tickets...lol I had it parked in my garage where I had my set of original wheels with the Firehawk Indy 500 tires and someone went in there and stole them a couple weeks ago and the police told me they couldn't do anything for me, so I parked the Firebird on the curb where I can watch it all the time. I got a ticket for expired tags because the wreck happened a few days before my birthday, and I never renewed them because I knew I wasn't going to drive it for a while. So the police can't help me with my wheels, but will give me a ticket for trying to prevent my car from getting stolen or parts stolen off of it...oh well. I have had no time to fix it (yet) so I had to buy a new car asap. I bought a 2009 Nissan 370Z...pics below. I bought it with 20in Vossen wheels and a Stillen exhaust system...amazing fast car. I love it.
ps...sorry about the sideways pics, photobucket sucks ****.

Same thing happened with my car, except that was when I was like 7 and my dad still drove it. He was coming home from work on the highway and some one cut him off. The fender and the bumper wrapped under the RF wheel and basically locked it in place. I wish I had a pic to show. Basically after that, the car sat with an aftermarket fender and bumper for 10 years until I resurrected it.
Sitting is the worst for these cars, lol

The Firebird still runs and drives great actually lol
I've driven it a handful of times since the wreck. Only issue is some clearance on the passenger side because of the wreck when making full rotation turns, which has never been a strong suit for these cars let alone with 10in wide wheels lol

Who'd have thought the same idiot who whines about dis colored brake parts would try and be a dick to someone with a different sense of style.

Before and after of mine. Granted it took ~12 years
And a bonus shot of me when I was little and the car was around 8-10 years old. Remember it like it was yesterday.
If you sell it you'll kick yourself for it.

Hey bud, did you ever sell it? Caught it rolling past in between autocross heats during Import Alliance at Beech Bend, didn't have time to get an up-close look at it or say hi though. Anyway, I love the car. Was nice to see a little 80's American iron down there. If I'd known they allowed third gens to compete, would've brought mine down...
I did get a few pics:
Amazing how little slammed third gens look alongside newer cars:
Wish I'd been in mine and not this pile...

Funny...one of my really good friends owns the car now. That is me in the trunk on the right. And I actually just totaled my Z on Friday night and will be driving the Firebird again.
