Houston Caravan to Third Gen Roundup 2015
Is anyone interested in driving up to this year's Roundup together? I know that groups from Austin and San Antonio are doing it.
If so, I suggest meeting at the Valero at I-45 and Airtex at 7 am and roll at 7:15. Since registration for the Roundup starts at 11, that should give us plenty of time to make it there with one or two stops along the way.
Please click in the voting and if you have any suggestions or input, let's hear it.
Let's see how well we can represent Houston!

Re: Houston Caravan to Third Gen Roundup 2015
My Camaro is undergoing an engine swap right now. I should have it wrapped up soon. If I can get it running the way I want before May 9th than I'm definitely going.

I don't know for sure if I know him, but I sent him a PM anyway. The more cars the better!

I am a maybe only because I can't be 100% sure I will make it this year. As the date gets closer I will know if I can get away. But if I do make it I definitely want to meet up and cruise. Time will tell.

I'm not sure I understand your question. The roundup is the event. An all day F-Body gathering with an estimated attendance of 100+ cars is worth driving to IMO. Plus, there are a couple of special guests planned for the event. Here is a link to info on this year's Roundup:

Re: Houston Caravan to Third Gen Roundup 2015
We've thought about adding extra activities, but the vast majority of the participants would rather take how time to look at the cars, and try to visit with as many fellow owners as they can.
If more people request drag strip event our road course times (as you did on the other thread) , it's certainly something we would consider. We aren't very far away from the ennis track
That being said, a huge percentage of our participants are show quality cars, and those guys would never consider putting their cars on a road course. .

No need for all that. I have had a lot of these and many other generation Camaros. I just flew to Costa Mesa California to get a 91' Z28. I just like to do stuff with my car other than look at though I enjoy that as well. It's purdy.

Bumping this to get the thread at the top of the page where it belongs.
The Roundup is now 12 days away. As a reminder, we'll meet at the Valero at I-45N & Airtex (NE corner) at 7 and roll at 7:15 SHARP. Travel time to the Roundup is between 3 & 3.5 hours, depending on traffic and how many stops we make. I wouldn't mind leaving earlier so that we can find a car wash in Waxahachie and show up looking our best.

Where did you get your paint done? I'm looking for a good paint/body shop to repaint my car, realign my right fender, and replace my right door hinges.

First Paint Job was done at John Eagle Collision Center as I used to work for John Eagle Acura. Since then, management has changed and so has my job so I sent it to Meszaros Motorsports and they were able to correct the little things. They take time but Meszaros Motorsports does amazing work. Call Charles(general manager) at 713.973.1788

Unfortunately, I am definitely going to miss the reschedule. Someone do a burnout for me on the cruise up there. I had made it to each one of these thus far, I suppose I was due to miss one. There is always next year!
