Steering System making noise, killing RPM's

Just replaced the Power Steering Pump, the Power Steering Gearbox, and both of the lines, and filled the entire system up (and bled the air out of the system) with power steering fluid, yet any time I crank the steering wheel over, even a little bit, the system makes a loud noise as if there's no fluid in the system, also it seems to kill the RPM's on the motor as well. Anyone have any diagnosis?

PS should draw engine power.

Sounds like you have air in the system. Did you bleed it? The best way is if you have a vacuum pump to pull about 10-15" of vacuum on it and hold it for about 20 min. The more common procedure is to put the front end up in the air (tires not touching), start the engine and crank the wheel back and forth a few dozen times and top off the PS tank as you do it.

This is how I bled it after I replaced the gearbox a few months back. Had it up on sands for about 5 minutes cranking the wheel back and forth and refilling the reservoir until the sound went away. Just replaced the PS pump and hoses a couple weeks ago, did the same process with similar results, however, the noise has come back.
