A 350 and Money...now what
I started with a 305 tbi and swapped it to a 350 tbi. Its all stock so now with over $1000 in the bank lets say, what upgrades would be best off the bat. And if you suggest for example a new cam, then which one and what else is required. I got money to burn but dont want to spend it in areas of weak performance upgrades. Thanks

Now I know this may sound weird, but I say PROM burning equipment. The reason I am saying this is because once you start doing more common mods (heads, cam, etc.), the stock PROM and tune are going to hurt you, and even give you less performance. That's my opinion.
But, if you don't want to dive into PROM burning just yet, here's what I would do:
14"X3" Open element= around $30
Ultimate TBI mods and AFPR= free
Intake manifold= around $220
Headers= anywhere from $200 to $400 (you get what you pay for)
Cat-back exhaust= anywhere from $150 to $350 (^ same applies)
Upgraded ignition (cap, rotor, coil, spark plug wires)= around $200
And these, of course, are only engine mods.

Another vote for chip burning equiptment. Your car is in need of it right now. The stock PROM can barely support a stock set-up no less one with 45 more cubes.
