fuel pressure gauge
hi can anybody help me and tell me what fittings i need please to make a fuel pressure gauge ,does the valve in the injector rail need to come out and a male fittings screws in or a female threads on top of the valve ,just the middle of the valve needs to be pushed in to release fuel ,like a valve in a tyre to relase air ,also doles the gauge need to be liquid filled ,just i have a 100psi gauge with a 1/4 npt fitting thats not liquid filled, thanks for your help

you should see the male threads on the fuel rail. tap in there. kinda screws on like a kids bicycle air pump.

no. i always just screwed the hose/fitting onto the valve. it will depress the needle and allow fuel pressure once its tightened properly. im not sure on the thread sizes. just use the correct one. ive used a cheap one fron harbor freight tools before. worked ok.

i dont think id want a high pressure liquid filled fuel pressure gauge if thats what your trying to do? for a reading or diagnosis,...sure. not permanent.
