Re: Carburator to TPI swap
Tuned Performance, I am also new to this so please bare with me. I recently bought a HSR for a ZZ4 GM Crate engine and im in the process of doing a motor swap probably next month. I was looking into the reprogramming of my stock ECM (305 TPI in a '87GTA) but after reading your post the EBL P4 Flash seems like a great "upgrade" over the stock unit.
I did a google search on them and found their website and was reading about the advantages of going this route. I am not a master with the soldering gun so i would probably pay the small additional fee and let them install it for me. But like i said im not an expert by any means, could you maybe tell me from your experience the pro's vs the con's of going this route? Maybe what extra items i might need to pick up along the way?
Thanks in advance!
