TPI 383 - Quick vid of first day running

What's up guys. Proud day around my house. Fired the car up for the first time in 14 months. First time doing this much work and I took my time. Plus while I was at it, I cleaned EVERYTHING. Had a few glitches over the past few weeks, and few more still to fix. ...and of course tuning...but so far so good, and I'll sleep well satisfied tonight!!!

Quick specs:
Holley HP engine management
383 - Scat 900 rotating assembly
Lunati Custom Voodoo grind. (A snoodge bigger than the Hotcam)
RHS Pro Action 180s
Ported and matched base, cut and welded SLPs and plenum
SLP 1.75" headers
TKO600 / Ram clutch
Still on the stock (swapped) BW 3.27 / 9 bolt
Tokico/Eibach suspension with all the UMI catalog parts

Anyhow...pretty excited over here...wanted to share

Re: TPI 383 - Quick vid of first day running

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words and congratulation.

Kevwalt22- I would expect similar numbers. I could've easily gone with the 195 heads and a larger cam, but with the TPI in mind, this motor was designed to be a stop light beast, not a quarter mile hero. As you said, fun to drive!!

Re: TPI 383 - Quick vid of first day running

Thanks! ...yeah...honestly I would've loved a little more chop, but I stand by my choice of not over camming, especially with a TPI. It's got more lope than my zz4 cam/350 did, but not a whole lot. ....although what you can't hear, is that the overall tone is a LOT more.......angry. Can't really explain. Same catback. Must be the added cubes and compression. Def sounds different. Even my wife noticed

Appreciate all the compliments guys, thanks!
Very nice work Abubaca.
Thank YOU Steve! ....guys Steve did the gorgeous cut/porting/welding on those SLP runners and plenum. I port matched 'em to the base, but he did the heavy lifting!!!!!!

Re: TPI 383 - Quick vid of first day running

Yeah man! I'm looking forward to it. I'm still working out some little "first start" bugs, but nothing too major. Never thought I'd say this about Christmas weekend, but I almost wish I didn't have plans all weekend!!!!! I wanna wrench! (well....compute I guess, lol)
