Is my 9-bolt a posi axle?

Can you tell from this photo if the axle is a posi (limited slip) axle or not. I need to buy some proper oil and it varies from a non posi one.

What photo?

Most of the 9 bolt rear ends have a limited slip differential (posi). There is usually a tag on the cover that says to use limited slip differential fluid only. If it isn't a LSD and you use LSD oil it isn't going to hurt anything.

The photo is the one I pasted in my post above. It shows the carrier and some numbers on it. Unfortunately I do not have the tag anymore. I will use posi oil then.

OK, the picture is there now. It wasn't there earlier. Yes, that is the Borg Warner limited slip differential. Some people say not to use the LSD oil additive with this one, but I've always used it.

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. Any idea of the grade / specs of the oil that I should use? Maybe you can give me the one you are using?

I've started using Lucas 80W90 in most of my stuff, but Torco 80W90 works best with the Borg Warner unit. I don't see TGO anymore, so RGO would be the one to use. http://www.torcousa.com/torco_product/rgo.html

Torco RGO SAE 85W-140 w/ their type F slip additive is a proven combo on the 9 bolts.

Got it cheaper than I could locally off Amazon.
