Front rubbing issues

Front rubbing issues
I just put 16x8 prolines with 4.5 back spacing and 255 50 16s on my car the back is perfect but the fronts rub the outer edge of the wheel well. My question is do you think 245 50 16 tired up front would solve the issue?

Re: Front rubbing issues
Either should be fine, hows your alignment? How much faster you using?

Caster lol
Yea alignment is one thing to check
Also is car lowered and or worn suspension ?
iirc I did rub here And there but that was awhile ago either way should be fine
245 would work it is stock width I believe
Just keep in mind also there are variation in width for same tire dive among different brands of tire just FYI

Re: Front rubbing issues
The alignment is good, car only has 11k on it so I'm assuming suspension is all good, just pulled the stock rims and tires off ( 15s) and put the other rims/tires on. The outer edge of the tire is hitting the bolts for my front ground effects. Looks like I need a half inch or so to clear.

Re: Front rubbing issues
Don't let the mileage fool you front shocks especially cheap ones can go bad really quick at least from my experience which can lead to suspension sag over time
One thing learned never assume that's how you miss things at least my case lol

Re: Front rubbing issues
My 245 16" Gatorbacks rubbed up front in a hard turn when the car was new. Seems like one side was worse than the other. Think it is the inner wheel well, I forget. Haven't been driving it much to find out. If you mean going straight down the road, no they should not rub.

Re: Front rubbing issues
They don't rub in a straight line they hit the outer bolts that hold on my lower ground fx. Picking up two 245 50 16s tomorrow and going to try those.
