Aftermarket water pumps....which are the best for what you pay?

I'm soon getting an aftermarket water pump and want to know who's the best for their price. I want to pay a REASONABLE PRICE, so Edelbrock is out but I have narrowed it down to JEGS...$79.99, Weiland....65.99 for cast-94.99 for aluminum, Moroso...$109.99, Summit.....$62.99. All these are non chrome highflow units, which is what I want. Anybody have any experience w/ these of any helpful info? Thanks a lot.

I've been running the weiand aluminum pump for over a year now, and so far its been a reliable pump. I can't say it cools any better than stock, but my car always runs cool anyways, so I probably wouldn't notice the difference it did.

I really just bought it when mine went out because I wanted to save a little weight.

Like was said above, Stewart Stage 1. I've been running one for two years and love it.

Yeah Stewart's gotta be the best. Either Stage 1 or Stage 2 should work well for your application.

Which stewart water pump or any other water pump will work well for my engine. See sig. Are the summit ones any good? I want a chrome finish at the lowest cost.

I can't state anything about Stewart, but I loved my Edelbrock on my last project.....if I remember correctly, it wasn't all that expensive.

Tried the flowcooler (summit & Jegs rebox) didn;t notice any difference. all they do is mount a plate on the back of the impeller. don't waste your $ . the stewart is the choice of almost every circle track racer so that says quite a bit. those 9:1 motors run very hot during features. the moroso is a low drag unit not high flow.

I'm needing a good water pump also, where can I get a Stewart pump? I didn't see it in Summit.

i just went to autozone and they had two for my car, they had either a new one that was like 25 or more or they had a rebuilt one for like 10, waterpumps last for years, so i went with the cheap one because ,you know, im a poor boy....
