That sounds like a good deal to me!
The wiring probably isnt going to be cheap though with all those coil packs.

My cost concerns are the following:
Accessories
Accessory brackets
wiring harness
all sensors
ECU
related OEM smog equipment
Think it comes with a TB installed
"standard" exhaust won't bolt-up (new headers/etc)
I have absolutely NO experience with the LS1's and have absolutely no idea how much this stuff costs and where can I get it for reasonable prices. maybe SDPC or Pace can help me...

Just keep in mind, this IS a motor that is still in production that we are talking about here. The parts are avialable, that shouldnt be a problem. However, the prices can be unpredictable sometimes..
In any case, that is a hell of a deal. Scoggin Dickey sells their LS1 crate motor for like $5600 or something like that, but it somes with everything.
Now, if you can come up with the accesories, wiring, exhaust, etc, etc for under $3400, then you arent getting a bad deal. You should be able to put the thing together for under $5600 is what Im saying.
That would be killer in a thirdgen!!
------------------
L98, 3.27 9-bolt, Hooker shorty headers, custom 2.5inch Y-pipe, no cat, 3inch 2chamber flowmaster, JET AFPR, Ported MAF, Best ET: 13.86 @100mph. 1.99 60'
17 inch ROH "ZS" wheels. 17x8.5(front) and 17x9.5 (rear). Firestone Firehawk SZ50s. 245/45/zr17s and 275/40/zr17s. T56
On the way... Radar Blue 89 Formula, T56, Ram Jet 430, Ram Air, 17inch ROHs.

I'm assuming that you would be installing the LS1 into a third gen, right? Has anyone told you about what's involved with that swap?? Great price on the engine, but are you biting off more than you can chew? You could always sell it like others have said.
One question...who is selling a brand new LS1 for $2200? Is is stolen?

Sorry to disappoint you but it's going in my Wrangler.
I guess I could get the stuff I need form SDPC. Or call them and ask them what the price of what I am getting could/would cost to compare and go from there.
thanks guys.
