Eibach is gonna get a piece of my mind
I just bought an eibach pro kit because i wanted to get a lower stance on my car. I didnt want to go too low because this is my daily driver. so i decided to go with the eibach pro kit. i figured the sportlines would be too low. well i measure the bottom of the ground effects, front and back, my front was 5 and 3/4" and my back was 6 and 1/4". After installing the pro kit(it is supposed to lower the car 1 to 1 and 1/2" all of the way around) my car now sits at 6 inches in the front(A 1/4" HIGHER!?!?!?!) and 6 inches in the rear. I am very diappointed with this kit. Has anyone had any similar experience with this kit? Or is there a chance that i did something wrong? I know the springs are installed correctly. Eibach says that their srpings are made NOT to compress more over time. If this is true i will be selling an eibach pro kit, brand new, for about 75% of what i paid. Let me know if anyone has a similar experience or knows something that could be wrong here.
thanks

I've installed the pro-kit, nothing like that happened to me, at first,I thaught the front was a little too low.I installed my springs according to the haynes manual. I made sure to cover all or part of one drain/inspection holes and secure the top insulators.sorry about that.

here is my thought on your situation. I am thinking that the eibachs did lower your car an inch from stock. Your springs were probably stock and over the years had compressed, and gradually lowered you car. So when the new springs were put in, they were supposed to lower you car an inch from stock. So it actually raised your car, but it's an inch lower than stock. Plus, your car was different heights in the front and back, and I think that these heights should be the same. Now they are. So the eibach kit did work.

How long have you had those springs? If you have not given it a couple of days the springs may not have settled suficiently. If you call Eibach that is prob what they will tell you. After dealing with lowriders for years I have seen this happen more than once.

Give it a little time. My pro-kit initially raised my car, but after about a couple weeks, they settled nicely.

Here's a stupid question: Did you move the car before taking the measurements? When you initially lower the car from being in the air, the suspension will bind and the car will sit much higher than normal. Rolling it back a couple feet should unbind the suspension. On my car, it makes a big difference.

You can always cut 'em a little,to get it down more.I have the same springs and I ended up taking 3/4 of a coil out of the fronts.
