Look what santa dropped off.

Well, I kind of bought it for myself (I really needed though). It makes it so much easier to buy things durning Christmas, cause I'm not the only one that pegs out the old credit card and the deals ----- man-o-man the deals -----

I still need to get an intermediate chest, and guess what! My birthday is in a week...I'll just have to find another card to use.

Come on post your Christmas stuff people, thats why I made the thread...and let us know if you like them? to keep on topic...

btw: I love the ball bearnings. I compared the fictions & these - I was sold. I also bought a 240 something piece tool set, for a nice foundation to build apon. I'll have to make a mobile set for trips or whatever out of my old tools.

-=Merry Christmas Everyone=-

...and no, I haven't been drinking!!! That's for Christmas day

Good score dude. Looks really sweet. That 240 piece set will come in handy for sure. Are you planning on leaving it there in the house and building engines there in the comfort of central A/C or something? lol. I wish that I could sometimes. It gets pretty hot here in SW Florida.

i work at sears, and the batch of ball bearing tool chests (model number: 59615) we got werent very well built. At my work, laguna hills, our whole batch of them, the top drawer isnt aligned correctly so it does not open easily. we had to stop selling them today. so im glad yours works great, but if you live in south orange county, open it and check b4 yu put it in your car.

Interesting info 'thechristopherh' about the 59615...
This is the very unit I have. The only problem I had was with drawer # 3 didn't want to close all the way. I replaced the right slider($10 Sears Parts), and it works great now.
The drawer sliders on the chest don't roll as good as the ones on the rollaway (59614) though.
Any problems with 59603 Intermediate 3 drawers 18" deep?

BTW: You guys got some killer **** !!!!!! , I think if we combine it all we can start a top fuel or Nascar team...

ohh, and yea Tom I'm keeping inside for as long as can I'll have to at least clean my garage up really good...

Tools are always a good score...

Hey 'thechristopherh', Dang it - I was in Orange County a couple of months ago!!! It was a hotel over by I5 & W Chapman...I was chilling on a hotel bed for about a week, on a real estate job. Well really it was my mom's job, and I was just taging along.
I would of given anybody a million dollars, if you would of told me I would wake up with four hours of sleep by a phone call saying "you want to go to LA for week", and within 3 hours I would find myself driving down 55 in a blue Taurus rental @ night!!! My old lady wasn't happy about me just booking, but man I had to get out - you guys know what I mean.
Imagine what your girl friend or wife would say if you rolled over in bed & said I'm going to LA for a week - see ya I'm leaving in 15 minutes It was funny, however my F'in cell bill wasn't!

sorry I went into story mode....

Ron

Nice score...

BTW: You see above, all the tools we buy? ah ha - you'll need them
Just kidding, the third gen actually a very reliable car. A 2nd ('70-'81) gen on the other hand - well,
------------------

Oh yea fellows, since the boxes I scored more Craftsman tools - and dang it, I wish someone would have told me not to get the socket trays. Now my goal is to fill up every dang hole with a socket - and folks I have 4 drawers with socket trays. Freaking deeps, stds, & metrics.
Thank g0d I didn't get stuck on Snapon, because I don't need a second mortgage. I absolutely suck when it comes to saving money!!!

...and YES 'Tom91Bird' It's still on nice cushy carpet inside my house.

Don't bother with the sockets!!!!

I too have the same set-up. You will never use a 25/32 sockets or the other half of the crap...
Just take RTV, and fill in the nonsense.
NOW THIS IS DEFINITELY MY HUMBLE OPINION.
Shawn.

19/32
21/32
25/32
1 1/2
and Metric 1/2" deep 6 point - no such thing yet from Craftsman.

Them F'in sockets have feeled up (4) 16 1/2 x 26" drawers.

The good thing is a finally got a 3 drawer intermediate. I really needed it!!!

Now I'm off on a Dewalt trip Blame my family for getting me one of those Dewalt Stereo/Chargers for my birthday a couple weeks ago. Currently have my eye on a 14.4V cordless drill

Yea 'formula350sd' about the 2nd gen. Man I'm hoping to get busy on a resoration on my '81 by it's 25th birthday. Right now, an F'in PARKING GARAGE isn't going to cut it! I need a damn shop!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking about getting one built on my land, but there not to cheep when you start adding all the requirments - like power etc...
