Fastburn heads
I want to get new heads for my car to replace the 882's on top after a lot of searching I found out I can get GM performance parts for next to nothing. So how good are the fastburn heads? I eliminated the standard vortecs because I dont want to switch my manifold too. I am open to everyones opinions. I can get a brand new pair of the Fastburns for $600

That is a great price on a set of Fastburns. They have vortec style intake ports so you have to use a vortec type intake.
I had them on a mild 400 with a flat tappet hydraulic cam and ran 11.86 so they do have some performance value. You aren't going to get a better head fro 600 bucks I wouldn't think.

The intake port is taller than a regular sbc head so you still need a vortec intake.
