good brand for cold air intake

good brand for cold air intake

What is a good brand for a cold air intake and is it worth it to put it on my 3.1 v6.
how much more power would i get and does it give you better mpg? is it worth it.

I happen to not like the idea of buying a cold air intake kit, because you don't get what you pay for imo. Cold air kits can get pricey, and if you aren't concerned about show quality looks you can make your own for a fraction of the cost, using this website, and routing it like you want.

If you're looking for function, I'd go this route. You need to use a combination of straight piping and rubber elbows. You can actually make them look pretty nice, especially if you paint them yourself!

or just buy the cheap *** 20$ ebay ones. All it is is tubing and an air filter with an elbow in the middle.

Yeah they rape you on shipping to make up for the low cost of the part. Alot of them have narrow piping too.
