Has anyone heard of Liberty Aluminum cylinder heads

A google search turned up nothing. A local machine shop is selling them at great prices. i will call and see if they come in 1989 L98 intake patterns. Thanks.

Re: Has anyone heard of Liberty Aluminum cylinder heads

I believe these are Liberty Engine Parts imported castings. Can get them for cheap and i think they are decent quality, but consistancy from set to set may be hit or miss as with all chinese parts. i think they have potential but should have ports cleaned up for best results. There were some rumors they were australian made but they arent. Believe they are same as procomp heads from china and sold by liberty as a private label head

Which shop is selling them?

Re: Has anyone heard of Liberty Aluminum cylinder heads

I googled "liberty cylinder heads" and the very first search result is a company selling engine parts and cylinder heads.

Oh ok, i am not familiar with that shop but if he sets them up with good components they may work good for a budget build.

Re: Has anyone heard of Liberty Aluminum cylinder heads

I can't seem to find any specs on them as far as cfm of flow or if they come with a L98 TPI (89) intake bolt pattern.

Re: Has anyone heard of Liberty Aluminum cylinder heads

I gather they are same as pro comp castings. They vary in quality so flow will vary between castings. Look up pro comp heads and get an idea from there
