Qa1 3 point strut tower brace
ive had it on my car about two years now. when somethings been on your car that long you forget about what it adds to the driving experience. I removed mine to do a project. I put the car back together leaving off the strut tower brace planning to get it on the next weekend. I then forgot all about it. driving the car I thought I had neglected to tighten something because the steering was so jumpy. there was so much feedback through the steering wheel I noticed that when I turned the front of the car was wobbly. it took about a week before I walked into my garage and saw the strut tower brace sitting there and realized I left it off. it took all of 10 minutes to put it back on. the difference was night and day. the front had no play. the wobble was gone and so was all the feedback in the steering wheel. if you have a thirdgen you should have a strut tower brace and the Qa1 3 point is a good one. I recommend it to anyone.

Re: Qa1 3 point strut tower brace
I am surprised to hear that it has such a positive impact on your car. I bought one for my car, but it didn't fit under the flat Firebird hood so I had to take it back off. I planned on modifying it later to get it to fit, but I haven't gotten back around to it.

I called QA1 and made sure it would fit. I had no issues getting it in. Love it

Mmm, you have a firebird too. I am not sure what my problem was then. After I bought it and tried to install I heard from others that it didn't fit the Firebird, but it worked for you. i wonder how much interference I really had. Maybe I could just slot the brackets to get the clearance I need....

I have it and it is the exact same as the old Edelbrock one. I am sure you can still find one in someones inventory, but it is ugly compared to the DSE 3 point. I would look at that, although the cost of entry is higher.

I don't think the strut tower brace is bad looking. as you can clearly see my car is a driver but the brace isn't bad. it was one of the more affordable too. if looks are as important as function than the Detroit speed unit is the best but its 3 times the cost of this one.

I have a 4.8 LR4 in my car too, lol. I think I have mine adjusted all the way down, but I think I might have to slot some holes to get it to work with the hood

Maybe the one that didnt fit is a factory defect? I bought mine because so many reviews say nothing fits under the firebird flat hood but they all said this one did. Do you have pics?

I haven't seen any other 3 point tbi braces in person. I think it looks nice and it works really well. I suggest it to anyone looking for a tbi brace with the firebird hood.
