Made For You Wire Looms--I'm P!ssed
Okay, I bought those damned things for $50. They look great. Great design, except for the nut on the bottom that falls off when you unscrew the hold down bolt. Maybe they are good for headers, but when you have exhaust manifolds, they let the wires get way too close to the manifolds. The way I had my wires routed before(******* rigged) worked much better and was free. Not to mention the fact that it is a huge pain in the A$$ to switch places between wires. I will have to wait until I get my headers on and see if they work better then, but as of now, they suck!

Wich ones did you use the ones that go on the valvcover bolts for center bolt valve covers are the ones that go on the side if you got the ones that go on the side you have to buy a seprit center bolt adapter hit it lifts them up higher and away from the manifold I think I have a pic some ware of them I can post if you want to see bolth sets I one set on my truck on top of valve covers and the other in my transam on the side of them.

I just installedthe center bolt looms and had the same experience with the little nut. I put a little drop of super glue on the bottom of each plastic bracket and glues the nut in place - works awesome!
As for the wore routing... I just installed headers (TES w/AIR) and thought I would get the Made4You looms to dress everything nicely and route the wires properly. Sadly, the wires touch the headers (and/or AIR tubes) and there is no way around it with those wire looms - passenger side is the worst. I decided that rather than get rid of the looms (since I really like the way they look, and I just paid $50) I bought some plug boot sleeves. These are heat-proof to protect the wires. Now the wires still rest against the headers, but are protected. Sadly, the car won't be out for a few more weeks (stupid snow) so I can only guess how effective they will be.
Good luck
Eric

Heh, get ready for some pretty smells.... (being said very sarcastically)... withstanding heat is one thing, resting on superhot metal is a total different scenario
