1 3/4" shorty headers

Is there any manufacturer out there besides SLP who makes these headers? I have looked at lots of headers but it seems that most of the 1 3/4" headers are long tube design in the 28-30" length. I want something that will fit in the stock exhaust tunnel and not limit ground clearance like the full length headers would. Someone let me know if I'm stuck with buying the SLP's.

SLP makes the only smog legal ones, but I'm sure Hooker or Hedman or someone like that makes regular 1 3/4" shorty headers that arent smog legal.

Does anyone have any part numbers on these Hookers or Hedmans? I have looked at both of their websites and don't see any listed.

I'd like to know this too, since SLP just jacked up their prices.

I'm pretty sure the Hooker Super Comp shorties are 1 5/8". I looked on their site and the only 1 3/4" ones I saw were the long tube super comps.

I *thought* I came across some "mid" sized headers as they called them, made by MAC products.. that are 1 3/4" ... but I can't find much info on them.. or if they go back to 3rd gens, or only 4th gens.

Anyone know if MAC Products is still running/alive? .. their web page doesn't seem to be available, phone number I called was changed, and the new number just answers with a "memory full" message.. no greeting like "Mac Products" or anything... I was calling at night, just to see if that was a legit # however.. maybe someone real answers during the day? ..
