What do you look for in a speed shop?
If you were to go into a speed shop what type of things would you like to see and what type of things would tempt you to buy right on the spot(suspension parts etc...)

Honestly I would look at the customer rap sheet. Are they happy? disgruntled? the parts to buy is simple. If you can find it cheaper online with the shipping included, no contest. Unless you NEED it right then and there.

The main thing I look for is a place were the people know what the hell they are talking about which is rare in the speed shops arround here. I also look for an objecitve view on parts. Such as which parts are good and which ones can be used good on a budget and still do what the customer needs them to do. And if they don't have it they will get it to me asap and work their behinds off to do what I need them to do rather if it is a big order or a lowly $5 part. The main thing is that they need to be friendly and curtious to your needs. It helps to have common performance parts on hand and various choices of that part when possiable.
