DONT DEAL W/Pace Performance

If you have any thoughts on getting a alum. water pump from them think again i ordered mine on feb. 8 and i still havent gotten it i have called and talked to greg "the online guy" what an a**hole he is rude he acts like he doesnt care if you get your part like your money isnt good enough. if you leave a message dont count on him calling you back. i told he that im going to look else where and if i find a better price then im going to cancel my order he said and i quote "that will work" set me a blaze. thats no customer service. if and when i do get my water pump i will never order from there again and i suggest the same for everyone here. its just not worth it.

thanks
Daniel

Are you talking about www.paceparts.com?

If so, my experience with them has been different than yours. Haven't ordered a lot of stuff, but, for sure, haven't had the experience like you!
If it were me, I'd wait a few minutes (until I cooled down), call back and ask to speak to the Manager. Then relate your experience with Greg or whoever the sales guy was; then just tell the manager that you'll be taking your business elsewhere because of the poor treatment you received.

BTW, was your pump backordered or what?

i need wait a few mins and called back and i talked to milow and he was helpful that was after calling and calling and not getting any answer i all they would say is NOPE havent got it. and when i asked why or when can i look for it they just said i dont know. Not until i threaten to cancel my order did milow took down my number and said give me an hour and he called me back in like 15 mins and told me that they should have it by the 27th of this month so call him back and make sure they got it if they dont have by then im canceling and they wont be bothered by me anymore or anyone that i know this is their last chance i mean that will be almost 2 months if thats not patients i dont know what is! i wish i had the expericence you had. the only way they can make it up to me is to make in next day air ups but i know they wont.

I'm suprised.

I dealt with Jason at PACE when I did a hotcam/vortec/rocker/base GP.

Had about 10 people total involved and everything went thru great.

This was about 3-4 years ago.

I bought the hot cam retrofit kit and had no problems...... But then again it was in stock. I got it in 3 days exactly what they said and the price was good.

milo is one of the best guys there. i would reccommend either milo or bill barnes.

i work up the street from pace, i talk to them occasionally if i need a gm part for a customer.

i agree that milo is a good guy treated me good gave me answers to all my questions well i got a call today from him and he said that i called the for the water pump and they said that they dont know when they are going to send to pace so i gave up and canceled the order i was looking in the cooling board and found other website that sells them so i hope my luck is better but i dont think i will order from them again and if i do it will be a long time.
