Getting very frustrated with IkeSound
Beware of this company. They have a very shady return policy, which I should have read before I bought my Audiobahn amp. They are not a licensed Audiobahn dealer so the warranty is only good directly through them.
The amp I bought was defective so to send it back I had to pack with it a $39 money order as a return fee. After an extra $15 to ship it via UPS, I got confirmation that they received it AND had signed for it on september 27th. After hearing nothing from them for a week and a half I called (October 8th) and asked about my return. They said they never got it! I explained about my confirmation and that somebody has signed for it and they said they would look for it and call me back. Whatever.
Later that day they called me and said they found it and would be processing it shortly and sending me an email because they only do returns about 3 times a week. So I chill out and wait.
Today, over a week later I still haven't received an email. So I call and ask about it again and again, THEY TELL ME THEY NEVER GOT IT. I said "we already went through this, and you called me and told me you FOUND IT". She said "well, I didn't call you". That pissed me off. Once again they said they process returns a couple times a week and she put a note on it and said they will be processing it again shortly.
So here I am, a month after shipping it back to them, and they still haven't processed my return. They received it on september 27th! I have a feeling I will never get a replacement for the DEFECTIVE AMP THEY SENT ME IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Don't order from these people. Even if I do end up getting my amp back, at this point they've already lost my business.

Re: Getting very frustrated with IkeSound
i've purchased through them previously, but never had to do a return with them.
being someone who works for an internet sales company, i do stress to everyone making returns to get a tracking number (which you did thankfully). it atleast gives you proof of the situation, were something to go wrong. and i always recommend checking out a company's return policy. i know you shouldnt have to, but it is there in print (most of the time) and can save some headaches.

for me sonicelectronix worked well for audio upgrades, service was good and prices are even better, especially compared to other sites like crutchfield and discountcarstereo.com

Re: Getting very frustrated with IkeSound
They finally sent me a replacement amp. This is after my $39 return fee plus $15 to ship back the defective item they sent me.
It took WAY too long. I wont be shopping here again.
