Classic Industries Discount Codes
http://www.classicindustries.com/
Classic Industries has taken an active interest in 3rdgens in the last couple of years, representing itself here on TGO, so I thought I would create a thread that, hopefully, sparks some interest from 3rdgen owners by posting the company's discount codes. Classic sends out emails with discount codes to its subscribers often, almost weekly, with discounts in the range of 10% to 25% off of orders over specific minimum dollar amounts for online orders, but most commonly 15% to 20%, sometimes even with free shipping. Cut-off times for discount codes tend to be midnight PST(Classic is in SoCal).
I've been getting these emails for along time, and I've thought of doing this for awhile now. But if Classic doesn't want these posted, or if Classic already does this on its own and I've overlooked it, then I will stop and mods can remove this thread. But we have similar threads for other vendors, Rock Auto, for example, and they seem to generate good results for those vendors. So hopefully this will be a good thing. So if any other TGO members here learn of codes, feel free to post them up; I will continue to do so too. And Classic, if you see this and want to contribute, definitely do so.
Today's discount code is FUL15 for 25% off of orders over $299. It's a one-day-only offering for April Fool's Day, so I'm kind of late with my idea to post it(just over 5.5 hours to go on this one), but it's not an April Fool's Day joke, as their email states lol. I just took advantage of it myself. This discount was actually offered over the past weekend, but they extended it through Monday, then created a new code for it for today, April Fool's Day. Jump on it; you have until midnight tonight(3am on the east coast for those who get home late at night).
Classic is always good for small OE parts that can be hard to find, they offer aftermarket parts, they also offer popular reproduction parts and seem willing to listen to us when considering what to reproduce next. For example, Classic reproduced the parts for the 3rdgen Firebird's rare Z20 Special Appearance Package(because TGO members asked for it), they offer OE reproduction wheels(R15 Firehawk, 17" Snowflake, 16" Cross Lace GTA, and 16" Turbo Cast Formula), 82-84 and 85-90 Trans Am front and rear bumper covers(TGO members ask for these also; I personally would like to see a good quality reproduction of the 85-90 base Firebird/Formula front bumper cover, which was extremely common and should be in high demand, because decent originals are nearly impossible to find), they offer Aero Wing rear spoilers, and they offer modern upgrades too, such as the real projector headlights like I have in my Formula(there's a thread about my headlights here on TGO; they weren't from Classic at that time, but Classic has since picked them up). Most of the things I've listed are high-dollar parts, and some are available from a competitor or two, but when you shop with Classic's discount codes, you can save a lot of money. Those discounts could even be the difference between putting something on a "wish list" with the hopes of getting it "someday," and being able to buy it now.
Classic has been a large supporter of earlier classic Camaros and Firebirds, but 3rdgens are classics now too, and Classic seems to have recognized that with their willingness to get involved here on TGO(no pressure, Classic ). And isn't that something we want? But they won't support us, if we don't support them; that's how business works. This is not about bashing or flaming, so if someone has a problem, post it elsewhere please, or create your own thread about your issue. This is about supporting each other, member and vendor.
Nobody is suggesting to shop/buy every week; I don't, I doubt you do either, and I'm sure no vendor expects that kind of return. But when someone is in the market for..., or might be on-the-fence about..., particularly when it comes to high-dollar items, then these discount codes might provide motivation and assistance.

Re: Classic Industries Discount Codes
I do appreciate companies providing parts...
My personal experience with Classic has been little and not so good...
I was going to place a huge order with them, using some "sale" and after tallying up the parts / prices, the "sale" didn't apply to most of it because "those items were already discounted".... at the same advertised price before the sale... Not much of a sale..
I still placed an order through them, with among other things, consisted of 2 headlight bezels... they sent them... but one was gloss and one was matte, so I had to return one to get a matching set... I've had better luck with other vendors, I may try them again if they're the only game in town for a certain part...

Re: Classic Industries Discount Codes
I spent a lot of money with them over the years, always had good luck. I recently ordered a $80.00 Gunmetal Grey GTA Nose Emblem from them. When it showed up, it looked like the porcelain was wavy and bubbly. I called and spoke to a rep, told them the problem, and he personally inspected 4 of them and sent me a replacement 2 day priority. Perfect!
The're a good company, and I use them when I can.
On another note....Someone else on here also ask's to post promo codes last week

Re: Classic Industries Discount Codes
Nothing but good things to say about them and have used them now off and on for over 9 years.
They just recently helped me find the correct CA Emissions sticker for a 5.0 ,TBI, VIN-E.
Very helpful.
