Originally posted by ZZ4 86 Z28 bet it flows great, but i really dislike the look of it.
It looks better in person. Still a plain look though. But yeah,
it definitely flows very well. It's actually capable of handling
well over 500hp. I had the throttle body off the intake while
I was swapping the motor in. I looked inside it and there's
defintinely NO restrictions in there! It's all wide open. There's
no need to port it out. I don't think you can even if you'd want
to. Maybe the throttle body hole for a bigger throttle body.
edit:
btw, i normally dont have the gay fuel rail covers on it.
the only reason i have this pic is because i wanted to see what it would look like... i took the covers back off.
This one is from a Mercury Marine Black Scorpion 377.
may not all fit under a stock hood.,But you'll be the only one in town with one. Bolts on to Vortec and FastBurn heads.
tunnel ram style like a Ramjet.

Cast iron?
Where's the throttle body mount?
Any more pics?
Thanks!

still a work in progress, still need to finish routeing the wires, and installing misc. stuff. i will post more when finsihed. It is a 355 with converted LT1 intake, world products sportsman 2 heads, has to add material around the water jackets to cover them due to the sportman 2's having slightly raised water ports.
It's just a standard Mr. Gasket housing with O-Ring. Since I'm not using the regular serpintine set-up I can run the radiator hose straight off without hitting the belt amd still clear the mini-ram.

We will have to see if I can get mine done and drivable before you Anthony. I just finished taking the old engine out and will put the new one in in the morning. Hopefully it will start up no problem. I will post pics of the single plane efi, but I guess you could always come over and look.
It started out as a Wieand Team G not really sure of the age though. I had the top, fuel rail stands, and injector bungs done by Canadian Custom Fabrications. They are a solid bunch of guys who do great work. The fuel feeds from the drivers side the t-fitting going to go to a isolator for a fuel pressure gauge.

that setup is bad ***. what size tb do you have on their? i bet that would benefit the all mighty monoblade from as&m.
what is the long block that assembly is going on? Also, what engine management are you going to use?
I want to get a new throttle body at some point...I'm waiting til I find one for a good deal some place. it's going on a longblock with a stock rebuild and older aluminun vette heads (not the d-port). I do have a cam to put in the engine a gmpp zz1 cam with 235/235@.050. but I don't really know what to do for a computer something cheap and easy to use would be my first choice. If anyone else has used that cam some ecm help would be great.
Did you tweak or modify the strut tower brace to fit over the HSR intake? How much work was it?
No Sir. From time to time, I do get vibrations through the hood from the HSR and brace rubbing one another. All I can do is attempt to set the brace the lowest as possible, against the intake, but there is vibrations... generally when I'm setting at an idle. When actually moving, I don't think I ever get vibrations.
