LT1 intake on 305?
Is an LT1 intake worth grabbing for a 305? I know ill lose some torque, but is the HP gain worth it?

They did make a baby LT1 that was only a 4.3L V8 i feel it depends on what it is your looking for out of the car and its powerband

LT1 L99 intakes are identical
The intake swap is more of a supporting mod. It moves the power band up allowing pretty much any cam to be used
You do know TPI was designed specifically for the 305 right? So the drawbacks for it are not as apparent until your combo gets really wild
